Scene 1 - Int Room. It is dark and we hardly see the background. There is a
single light from above over the man who is sweating in the chair. He is tied down with
big cord and struggling to get out. Two men in suits and sunglasses are in the background
on either side of him. Walking around the chair is a man, tall and thin in stature,
flustered.
Walking Man
Is there nothing else you can tell us to save your ass.
Tied Man
I swear to fucking God man, I don't know.
The man takes a puff off his cigarette and presses it into Tied Man's hand. All
Standing laugh, seated man groans in pain.
Tied Man
Rocco, he has it!
Walking Man
Bullshit... We've already gotten to Rocco...
Tied man whimpers and starts to cry.
Walking Man
Oh for Christ sakes!!! You big whiny pussy... Do you have the money or not?
Tied Man
No. We put it in a Savings and Loan.
Walking man walks directly over Tied Man and shoots him in the head. Blood spurts out
of his skull flying onto Walking Man, covering his whole face and most of the upper part
of his body.
Walking Man
Motherfucker!!! I just bought this suit!
Background Man #1
Maybe it'll come out, Jack.
Jack
Blood? On this type of material... no way.
Background Man #2
My wife always tells me you can get out any stain as long as you get to it before it
dries.
Jack
How am I gonna explain blood to the cleaners?
Background #1
Tell them your kid had a bloody nose and bled the fuck all over you...
Jack looks at him with the priceless expression of "Are you a fucking idiot?"
He starts to wipe his face with his handkerchief.
Background #2
Tell them your buddy got shot or something, who the fuck is gonna ask ya? You're
payin' them to clean the fucking suit, not be your fucking mother.
Jack starts to fill with anger and gives a kick to the dead man, still tied in the
chair.

car. Credit. LS side of car pulling away. Credit. ELS back of car driving away. Credit.
Scene 3 - Int Car. The car pulls to a corner and idles as Mickey jumps in. Jack
is smoking a cigarette. Mickey is in his Mid-twenties, dressed slovenly, dirty yet clean.
Jack is wearing a nice shirt with tie and jeans.
Mickey
So what happened?
Jack
She left.
Mickey
What the fuck is wrong with her?
Jack
I don't know. It's this women's lib shit. All I ever asked her to do was the fucking
laundry. She asks what some stains are on my shirt. I tell her to mind her fucking
business... She asks who I'm seeing... What the fuck was I gonna tell her, I whacked some
fucker in a warehouse? I tell her a friend of mine was shot... She asks more questions...
I tell her "Shut your fucking hole about my shirt already" and she gets pissed
off... Says I'm too high-strung... High strung? What the fuck (bangs on dash board)?
Mickey
She was a fucking cunt anyway...
Jack
Yeah, well, she was good to me, so I don't get what the fuck the problem was.
Mickey
Just find another one...
Jack
Oh man, I don't want to have to go through that shit again...
Mickey
What shit?
Jack
You know exactly what shit I mean...
Mickey
I set you up with Susan, didn't I?
Jack
Yeah, and look what happens!
Mickey
Oh come on, I just thought you were gonna get a blow job out of it or something, I didn't
think you'd get so fucking serious...
Jack
Well, that's the type of guy I am alright... I don't fuck around like you, okay? I like to
know something about the chick before I fuck her, shit, you know, like maybe like her?
Mickey
For what? Chicks will fuck you up. Better not to even know who they are, you know, all
pussy fucking tastes the same.
Jack
You got no fucking taste, you know that Mickey? I fucking hate chicks like that, dig?
Scene 4 - Int Party. Music is blaring real loud. Thirty or so people are crammed
in some small room that looks as hot as it really is. Everyone is sweaty, flustered, and
out of breath. Nobody is dancing. Everybody is drinking. Jack is screaming to a girl.
Girl
Yeah, I hate when movies are like that. (high pitched whiny laugh)
Jack
I wish they would go right to the steamy stuff, you know, stop beating around the bush,
well, you know what I mean.
Girl
Absolutely. So what do you do, Mark?
Jack
(stutters)
Oh, uhhh, I'm a foreman for a foreign exporter.
Girl
Really, I work for Pier One Imports!
Jack
How about that?
Girl
So, you want to go outside or something?
Scene 5 - Int Car. The windows are steamed up quite a bit. She is on top, her
dress mauled down to the middle of her arms, breasts just slightly visible. Her hand flops
down to his zipper. A loud, squealing beep is heard.
Girl
He doesn't mean anything to me!
Jack
Shit.
He looks over on the side of the seat and pulls up his beeper. She just kind of slumps
down. His expression changes drastically. He reaches again to the seat and lights a
cigarette.
Girl
You're supposed to do that AFTER... (whiny laugh)
Jack
Sorry about that... work calls all the time. I have to go...
Girl
The ships come in this late?
Jack
The shipping business is a twenty four hour business, honey... (Sardonic) People need
their knick-knacks, ya know?
Girl
Can I see you later or something, Mark?
Jack
Umm... I'm gonna be a little busy, I'll give you a call.
He pushes the girl out of the car, she starts yelling, but do you have my number. He
fires up the car and starts to back out, and almost runs over another girl, Sheila Romans,
in her twenties, attractive and nicely, but not sleazily dressed. He gets out of the car.
He helps her up and they stare into each others eyes until Jack snaps out of it and says:
Jack
Are you all right?
Sheila
I'm fine.
Jack
What are you doing?
Sheila
The party was getting boring so I took a walk.
Jack
I'm sorry.
Sheila
No, it's okay, I should have looked out.
Jack
What's your name?
Sheila
Sheila.
Jack
I'm Jack.
Sheila
Hello Jack.
Jack
Where were you going to go?
Sheila
I was going to walk around until my girlfriend got bored enough to leave, then have her
give me a ride home. She ran off with some guy or something.
Jack
May I give you a ride home?
Sheila
Well I wouldn't want to put you out or anything.
Jack
It would be my pleasure.
Scene 6 - Int Car. Sheila and Jack are talking, they both are engrossed in their
conversation. Jack is driving.
Jack
You don't believe that people have to do things that they don't want to just to survive?
Sheila
Yes, I believe they do, but I don't think they have to. The only reason why they do is
because of the system we are under today.
Jack
Uh-huh. So, what do you do Sheila?
Sheila
I work with political canididates, doing press releases and things like that.
Jack
Do you always believe in what your canidate stands for?
Sheila
No... I usually don't.
Jack
Then why do you work for them?
Sheila
Because its' work.
Jack
Ah-ha! So you get certain political leaders into office that you yourself wouldn't elect,
just so you could earn money.
Sheila
But is it wrong if I do it? All I do is present the canidate, the voters themselves decide
who they would like.
Jack
Yes, but your whole job is to persuade people into thinking your man is right.
Sheila
(changing the topic)
So, what do you do to try to make things better?
Jack
I try to live my life the way I want... too bad it's not going exactly the way I would
like it to.
Sheila
Why not?
Jack
I guess because I missing something.
Sheila
Like what?
Jack
Somebody to love.
Sheila
Oh... you know what I love in a man?
Jack
What?
Sheila
Danger.
Jack
Really?
Sheila
And a great... Right here. That's my house. Thanks a lot for the ride, Jack.
Jack
What's the other thing you like?
Sheila
Nothing.
Jack
Can I see you sometime?
Sheila
Sure.
As she walks away she yells without looking at him
Sheila
I also like a cute ass.
He smiles and drives away.
Scene 7 - Ext Night. He is walking in the slum area. He passes a building. He
walks down a quick alley and enters a building through the back entrance.
Scene 8 - Int Building. He walks into the dimly lit room. A big man comes and
gives him a big handshake.
Big Man
How the fuck are ya, Jack?
Jack
No complaints.
Big Man
Sorry 'bout calling ya like this, but shits got to get done.
Jack
Sorry about that last one.
Big Man
Hey... You didn't play with the money, they did.
Jack
Yeah... I wish I could of transferred back to your account, but, shit, well...
Big man walks over to a desk over near the wall. On top of the desk is a folder. He
picks it up. Jack lights another cigarette.
Big Man
This cocksucker has taken a shitload of my fucking money. He's one of them wall street
types. He was suppose to invest it in some shit for me, but then the motherfucker goes and
fucking thinks he can hold my fucking money from me. I want you to take him the fuck out
and try to get the dough back!
Jack
Fucking-A.
Big Man
The problem is none of my fucking men can get to him, he has a fucking great front,
otherwise I would've had one of my fucking dickheads whack him, but they got as much sense
as a fucking retarded kid playing on the fucking train tracks...
Jack
Fucking-A.
Big Man
You got to do a little research and figure it out for me, okay?
Jack
Fucking-A.
Scene 9 - Ext Restaurant tables at a bistro. Jack and poster girl, Sheila Romans
are talking and laughing and eating and swooning. The electricity of the first wave of
love apparent on their innocent faces amongst the backdrop of depressing dirty urbanized
America.
Scene 10 - Ext House. A glance between the both of them fills up the cool night
air. They stare. She leans up and kisses him and says good night, she runs in to house. He
looks like things went unexpected, expected to be sleeping with her, but happy he isn't
right yet.
Scene 11 - Int Apartment. We are inside Jacks apartment, a large studio with
tasteful but sparse furniture. Classical music is playing. He has a laptop on his lap. He
is typing. A long telephone wire comes out of the back and stretches across the barren
floor. On the screen flows text of connects, reconnects, strange jumbled letters. The
address of Raymond Hanson comes up. He stops typing, puts the laptop down and stares at
the single picture on the wall.
Scene 12 - Ext Road. Jack is driving up in his car. Next to him is a small gun
with silencer on it. He pulls up to the driveway. He gets out. He takes the gun, tucks it
in the small of his back, and knocks on the door. A man comes to the door and looks with
shock.
Man
Jackie?
Jack
(dumbfounded)
Ricky!?
Scene 13 - Int House. Both men are sitting opposite of each other, laughing.
Jack is fidgeting with his lighter.
Richard
Do you remember the time we broke into the sorority house and put rubbers on hot dogs and
put them in all the girls underwear drawer.
Jack
Yeah, then we checked the garbage pail and two weren't thrown away?
Richard
Yeah... right. Or how about the time we strung up Punter as Jesus on the cross, and nobody
noticed until mass was going on the next morning?
Jack
Shit, I forgot all about that... That's right! He was there for like sixteen hours, but
the more tired he got, the more he looked like he was crucified.
Richard
Who was that weird chick who use to carry all that shit in her lunch box, like jacks,
marbles, vibrators, dildos, rubbers, coke...
Jack
Oh, Maribelle. Yeah, she became a born again and has a restaurant up in the Great Smoky
Mountains with her baptist reverend husband.
Richard
Holy Shit.
Jack
Yeah... (long pause) So what have you been doing?
Richard
(turning more serious)
Well, I got married.
Jack
No shit!
Richard
Yup... have little girl too... Jennifer. She's great. She'll be so beautiful when she
grows... but, uh, she's kinda sick.
Jack
How sick?
Richard
She has kind of a bizzarre disease... not covered by health insurance, makes her very weak
one moment, fine the next. It's not so bad though... (long pause between both of them)...
but I have a great job... I'm a financial consultant. All these rich people give me their
money and I'm suppose to make them even more.
Jack
Well, looks like everything turned out well.
Richard
Yeah, it did... I've got the best security, because no matter what happens I can always
get money... So! What have you been up to?
Jack
Well, I'm between jobs now, was dealing with delinquent accounts for a businessman, but
that really isn't what I'm cut out for, it pays, paid the bills...
Richard
Did you like it at least?
Jack
Sometimes... that's the scary part. I started getting into it, but it really isn't me. I
just did it. If it wasn't me, it would have been someone else. Eat or be eaten.
Richard
Hard to get a job with a computer degree, huh?
Jack
Yeah...
Richard
You know, I need somebody to do the transactions on the computer, switch accounts, that
kind of thing.
Jack
Really?
Richard
Yeah! I can't find anybody competent enough to work the transactions.
Jack
I don't know...
Richard
Oh come on! You'll be working with me, your old buddy, Ricky. The whole job is switching
money from here to there, then from there to here and we get to skim the top. Easy cash.

Sheila
Did you hear what happened to the Pattersons?
Jack
(half paying attention)
Huh... no what?
Sheila
Becky ran away with that boyfriend of hers and the Pattersons reported her kidnapped!
Jack
Really... yikes... that's terrible.
Sheila
When are you going to invite the Swansons over again?
Jack
Uhh, I don't know, why?
Sheila
Its' just we haven't had them over for awhile.
Jack
Yeah.
Sheila
Did you do the laundry?
Jack
No.
Sheila
Jack!
Jack
What!?
Sheila
I don't want to be wearing the same underwear tomorrow!
Jack
So you do the laundry!
Sheila
You said I do the cooking tonight, you'll do the laundry!
Jack
Are you done cooking?
Sheila exhales in disappointment.
Sheila
I won't be here tomorrow night for dinner, honey.
Jack
Why?
Sheila
I've got a late night political rally.
Jack
Okay...
Sheila
Honey, what were you like before we met?
Jack
I don't know... I was kinda wild.
Sheila
And now?
Jack
Now I'm a man with responsibilities. You know, trying to get us everything we need so we
can be happy.
Sheila
Oh...
Jack
When we first were going out, what did you think of me?
Sheila
Now there's a man who could take care of me and treat me right. And he's so exciting, not
in a dangerous way, but in an emotional way.
Jack
(interrupting)
Did you take out a lot of money at the bank recently?
Sheila
Like a hundred dollars... is that a lot?
Jack
No, I mean like a lot of money.
Sheila
No... why?
Scene 16 - Int Bar. Mickey walks in the entrance. People in the bar yell out for
him. He smiles and says hello to the bartender, pats a couple of guys on the back, hand
slightly touches some girls. He sits down at the table with the rest of the crew and
lights a cigarette. He fidgets with a coaster.
Mickey
H'ya guys doin'?
John
So I heard things been goin' good for you Mickey.
Mickey
Yeah, yeah, great.
Pablo
How come you don't hang with us no more?
Mickey
Gotta take care of business, man.
Pablo
So you ain't hustlin'?
Mickey
Nah man, I got set up with a real job.
John
Doin' what?
Mickey
Can't really talk 'bout it, confidential, you know?
Sanford
Yeah, I can dig that.
Mickey
You seen Jack anywhere, wanted to hang out with him, but can't find him.
Sanford
That motherfucker hasn't stopped by once. Guess he's busy with shit.
Pablo
Last I heard he was visiting some sick aunt in San Fransico.
John
What the fuck you talkin' 'bout? Some dude told me the cops were after him and he went
into hiding, shit, that's my man Jack. No shit from nobody!
Sanford
I heard that he stole money from the Big Man.
Mickey
And who told you that?
Sanford
Shit, I got ears all over this fuckin' town.
Mickey
So maybe you know?
Sanford
Maybe your boss knows...
Mickey starts to look pissed off. The other two stare at Sanford and Mickey, trying to
figure it all out.
Mickey
Maybe you should shut your fucking mouth!
Sanford
Shit, I knew it... just fucking knew it.
Mickey
See you gentleman later.
He picks up and walks cooly out of the bar.
Scene 17 - Int Richard's Office. Both Jack and Richard are working normally.
Richard
Do you have the stock reports yet?
Jack
Yeah, they're coming through right now.
Richard
Did you get that proxy?
Jack
Yeah, I already loaded it on your terminal.
Richard goes to the computer. He types a couple of keys.
Richard
Oh, okay. Great. Did my insurance papers come through?
Jack
Life, yes... health, no.
Richard
(personal sounding) Shit... Well, good to know Jennifer is okay if I'm not around... just
when I'm living things are tough.
Jack
Yeah... It's absolutely criminal.
Richard
What?!
Jack
The insurance companies...
Richard
Oh. (shift to professional tone) I just want to tell you that you are doing fantastic
work, Jack.
Jack
Thank you, Richard.
Richard
Which is why I am giving you a client who is very important... Our sorority sister Rachel
Schroder.
Jack
Schroder! Damn it, I didn't know we advised her.
Richard
Well, you know she's a pretty big writer now, right?
Jack
Read all ten of her books...
Richard
Well, she's a little weird now, so try to steer her on the right track.
Scene 18 - Int Schroder's House. It is cluttered with records, nicely decorated,
but piles of things all over the floor. Schroder is looking through the piles of records,
pulling out ones she likes and tosses the ones she doesn't. The last line overlaps with
the scene. Schroder is tall, with long hair, wearing a flannel shirt and ripped jeans.
There is a tape recorder recording. Jack has the laptop on his lap, with spreadsheets and
the like on the screen.
Schroder
We are all hunks of meat hanging in the storefront of society. The only thing that
separates me from you is your mind, get it. I'm gonna use this conversation for the next
book, okay? People go around thinking that they have it far worse than anybody, that
nothing goes right in their little pointless lies/lives. Tell that to the starving African
or the pillaged bushman or the concentration camp victim. We are made up of flesh and
tissue and excretions of shit and we worry whether or not we mailed the check in on time.
Jack
Don't you think there's a higher power somewhere?
Schroder
Higher power. That's a fable story made by the people so they don't think the rot and
decompose in the ground when there little lives are over.
Jack
And you want to put this all in a film?
Schroder
Books aren't cutting it anymore. Like my novel Fags in Authority said,
"There's gonna be a change from literal to visceral. Print to pictures. The MTPee
generation have too much information to digest in every daily struggle and the word has to
die or become quicker."
Jack
Well, people just do what they think is right? When in Rome...
Schroder
The sheep will always follow, but of course the sheep also decides what sheep to follow.
Like when people all around you are drunk, you feel like you are drunk even though you
didn't have a drop. Or when you are around college graduates you feel collegiate.
Jack
So how do you feel about being a predator?
Schroder
What do you mean?
Jack
You were saying before hunt or be hunted.
Schroder
Oh... well if I win I feel great. If I fight and happen to be the victor, I'm all for it.
But if I'm the hunted I think it is the worst thing in the world. If I'm both, then I have
all of the knowledge, don't I, on everything? The full spectrum.
Scene 19 - Int Warehouse. Mickey and Big Man along with all flunkies.
Mickey
I haven't got a lock on him yet boss.
Big Man
What the fuck is this!?
Mickey
Listen, he's not hanging around. I'm trying to get a search on your broker, too, but its'
real difficult. I've been asking everybody.
Big Man
Yeah, and who knows where this dickhead is now. Probably took my fucking money and went
off to the Bahamas or something!
Mickey
Don't worry, going to a high-brow party tonight. One of them coke crowds... maybe he's
been around there.
Scene 20 - Ext school, night as Sheila walks in, wearing a conservative dress.
Overlap dialogue from next scene.
Scene 21 - Int school room. Sheila sits down in one of the empty chairs in the
back. Various shouts of recognition fill the air once in awhile.
Speaker
That's why the community needs a wake up call. Are we going to let Senator Jackass take
the park from us like it was his. If they think they are going to put a low-income housing
development where are children are playing right now, they are crazy! Are we just going to
lay down and have our money be given to these jobless bums. So write now, and vote NO on
proposal 794a! Thank you.
A man walks up to the podium.
Man
Thank you very much Annie for your words, and now I would like to introduce Sheila Romans.
Sheila goes up to the podium and starts to talk.
Sheila
Hello everybody... I'd like to say a few words about the proposal. Now, I'd just like to
say that I am the world's biggest liberal, but there is absolutely no reason why we...
Scene 22 - Int party. Music is blaring, and people are dancing around. Sheila is
continues speaking, but in different tone from scene 21.
Sheila
...should support this proposal. I mean, most of us moved away from the city so we
wouldn't have to deal with this kind of situation.
The man listening to her stands in front of her, we do not see his face. He lights a
cigarette.
Man
You're right. I mean, you don't want some scumbag moving in the middle of town, right by
the school. Who knows what kind of fruit cakes would move into this place.
Sheila
Exactly. I mean I don't have anything against poor people, but to tear down a park so we
can put up an apartment building is ridiculous. Right now, the park is near the school,
the kids can all congregate right there and are relatively safe.
Man
Do you want to talk a little bit outside?
Sheila
Sure.
As they turn, it is revealed to the camera that is was Mickey who was listening.
Scene 23 - Int Schroder's apartment. It is night still and they are still
talking. Sheila is at the computer, typing. Jack is trying to get her attention, he has a
folder with papers in it.
Jack
So you see its' the only investment plan that will give you the freedom to do what you
want.
Schroder
Yeah... Yeah... back to what you were saying before. I think the only reason we get
involved in anything is because we are either bored or because we are afraid of death.
Jack
You trying to tell me I cut the lawn because I fear dying?
Schroder
No... you cut the lawn because your wife...
Jack
Girlfriend.
Schroder
Common law wife wants you to cut it, but you are with her because you are afraid of being
alone.
Jack
I'm not afraid of anything.
Schroder
Think about it... do you even love her?
Jack
Yes!
Schroder
How?
Jack
I take care of her... I listen to her. I spend all my time with her.
Schroder
Uh-huh. So, what is love?
Jack
Love... Love is all of that.
Schroder
Wrong. Love is what makes a person get drawn to something that could potentially hurt them
because they have no choice.
Jack
What?
Schroder
Think about it... how many times have you been burnt in your life by women.
Jack
Once.
Schroder
And all the women after?
Jack
They... I didn't let them get into a position to burn me.
Schroder
Uh-huh. Why not?
Jack
Because I don't trust anybody.
Schroder
Why?
Jack
Because! You let people meddle too much upstairs they end up fucking you up.
Schroder
Right.
Jack looks happy, then dumbfounded.
Schroder
See... you have only loved once. You've cared for many, but only loved once, because love
can hurt, and if you can't take the pain, the rest of it is bullshit.
Jack
Hey... I've had to put up with a lot of shit from chicks. If that isn't love...
Schroder
No, that's tolerance... tolerance because if you were alone you'd be afraid of dying. Like
my friend David told me once, he would always want to be with somebody because if he got
murdered he'd want somebody there to see it.
Jack
Are you gonna sign this?
Schroder signs the paper.
Jack
Well, I love Sheila, and would never leave her no matter what she did, because I can't
live without her. I'd risk my life to save hers.
Scene 24 - Int car. Sheila and Mickey are in the backseat having sex.
Sheila
He doesn't mean anything to me.
Mickey groans in orgasmic spasms. The party in the background is dying out. Mickey
lights up a cigarette in post-coital bliss.
Mickey
Can I see him?
Sheila
No!
Mickey
(sarcastic to audience)
I mean like from the window... I want to see the luckiest man alive.
Sheila
Oh Mark...
Scene 25 - Ext Richard's house. Jack is walking up the driveway with the papers
in his hand. Richard is inside the office typing. As Jack walks past he sees Richard. A
POV shot reveals that Richard is stealing Jacks money. Jack pauses and looks a little
upset. He reluctantly starts to trot and then Jack runs.
He stands outside a door. He starts to try to muster up his character. The door to the
office flies open. Jack raises a gun.
Jack
So you not only steal money from gangsters, but from your friends, huh?
Richard
I had to... My policy passed through today.
Jack
Yeah. You know I was contracted to kill you. My ex-employer, your ex-employer, the big man
was a little pissed off you took his money. I'm a little pissed you took my money.
Richard
I had no alternative. If I didn't have enough income for Jenny, then the bills would fuck
up my lifestyle.
Jack
I have to do this, right?
Richard
(looking out the window)
Sorry...
Jack fires two shots into Richard's body. Richard falls to the floor. Jack sits down at
the chair in front of the desk and almost starts to cry. He then suddenly stops. Jack goes
over to the computer and starts transferring all of the money into a Swiss bank account
through a maze of screens. The screens come up saying International Bank Switching. He
types in the account Raymond Hanson and then the screen fills up with numbers. Jack types

gives her a kiss. He starts to rub her feet.
Jack
So how was the meeting, honey?
Sheila
Oh, it was okay... they can't let this thing pass.
Jack
I know, I think it is an okay idea, but if you can get enough people to think differently,
then I hope you guys win.
Sheila
So how was your day?
Jack
Good, good. I had to advise a college buddy of mine, Rachel Schroder.
Sheila
The writer?
Jack
Yes, the writer... we ended up talking for hours. Pretty interesting girl.
Sheila
That's great.
Sheila turns on the tv with a remote. He slowly grabs her hand and turns it off. He
looks into her eyes.
Jack
You know I love you, right Sheila?
Sheila
Yeah... I know.
He starts to kiss her and they start the beginnings of making love. Mickey outside runs
to his car.

Jack
What's wrong?
Sheila
I can't do this anymore.
Jack
What, sleep together?
Sheila
Jack... I'm in love with another man.
Jack
What!?
Sheila
It's not that I don't love you, its' just that we don't talk anymore Jack, this man
listens to me.
Jack
We talk... we talk all the time...
Sheila
Not like we used to... we end up watching tv...
Jack
I thought that's what you wanted.
Sheila
There's no more excitement anymore...
Jack
We can start over again, it'll be just the way it used to be... I got the air...
Sheila
Jack... Jack... its' just not the same anymore.
Jack
So, did you fuck this guy?
Sheila
How could you even think that? You think I'm that low... I wouldn't do anything until
everything with you and me were cleared up.
Jack
I gotta go...
Sheila
Jack!
Jack walks out the door. Sheila slumps down. Jack in the hallway picks up one of
suitcases and leaves one. He picks up the laptop and closes it. Sheila pulls up the covers
over her head.

pilot and says something to him. The plane starts up. Mickey hides around one plane. Jack
picks up a cellular phone and dials.
Jack
Hey, boss... Yeah... I killed the guy, took a while to find him. All of your money is
transferred back to your account. Funny thing is I saw Mickey hanging out with the
financial guy, I saw he had an account with him, I think some funny business was going on
between the two of them. No... I can't meet you later, going away for awhile. There was
this girl, Sheila... I think she knew what was going on. Oh, really? That's too bad, I
thought they were in love.
Jack climbs in the plane. The plane starts to roll onto the runway. The hitmen run back
towards the car. The plane taxis. The car starts up. The plane goes onto the runway. The
car speeds up behind the plane and the men start firing at the plane. The plane takes off
revealing the men in the middle of the runway. Jack looks out and stares at them. One man
picks up the cellular phone he has in his jacket. The men stop and turn around and ride
after Mickey who is in the middle of the runway. They get him and throw him into the car.
Jack lights a cigar, then looks out at the sky. He then stares blankly in the plane,
expressionless, smoking.
