Downsizing Haikus

My company is going through what they call a transitional phase, and I see entire divisions getting fired left and right, and sell off of other divisions are in the works.   When they fire you, you come in to a conference room, and they tell you after you just battled the morning commute that you are no longer an employee.  Then they escort you from the premises, telling you that your personal effects will be mailed to you; you can't say goodbye or get your things.

I see people sad.

Firings hit hard at home.

Where is my paycheck?

People steal paper,

Pencils, staples, paper clips.

Victory is mine!

Rumors fly around.

Did you read the newspaper?

We are all done for.

I see empty desks.

Updating my resume,

It is only time.

Analysis Starts.

Blaming keeps you happy here.

Always an expert.

Big companies fall.

How then do rich get richer?

By discarding you.

Called into a meeting.

Corporate Doublespeaking

Confuse you to stay.

Small perks are fading.

Milk for my coffee is scarce.

When will the axe fall?

Family Values...

Guess What? Dad is fucking you.

No one will believe.

Fat Cats never worry.

They live on carcasses here,

Tabulating worth.

It is for the better.

Profit margins are falling.

My Porsche needs a wax.

Business is failing.

Packing boxes stacked very high.

Stock Price is very low.

Nervous Nellies wait.

It will never happen here

Despite the stories.
